Rajasthan were excellent with the ball in the first 10 overs. They managed to keep the run flow in check and also got a couple of wickets. However, the over from Ravichandran Ashwin where Rana took the attack to him, changed the course of the game. From there on, they failed to control the flow of boundaries. Finally, Kolkata have broken their losing run! This was not an easy chase but they have managed to get over the line! Chasing a moderate score, Aaron Finch and Baba Indrajith departed early. However, Shreyas Iyer and Nitish Rana then steadied the ship. The two went along things slowly at first but then pressed on the gas when needed. Their stand took Kolkata on top. Iyer fell but Rana continued and he along with Rinku put up a match-winning stand. Rinku Singh played brilliantly and one has to believe, it is his knock that took Kolkata over the line.
