Sarfaraz Ahmed says there weren’t a lot of runs scored and the bowling wasn’t great and they did not expect they would score it so easily and quickly. Adds they need to bowl well and bat well going ahead but first he needs to start winning the toss. Also says they will have a talk about what to do and he hopes they can do well. Ends by saying they were outplayed and he hopes they can comeback strongly.
The victory was actually set up by their bowlers. They restricted them to a low total which was easily chased without losing any wicket. A very dominating performance by Islamabad.
A mockery was made of the run chase! Right from the word go, Munro and Khawaja went after the bowlers. The former was in devastating form and scored his half ton in no time. Khawaja played a good hand and in the end, it was a complete hammering.
