Afif Hossain, the skipper of Chattogram Challengers, says that the team is really excited to play the next game. Mentions that the decision to let Mehidy Hasan bowl the final over was not planned as such but he is glad they came out on the winning side. Adds that they will watch the next game with some mini celebration as well.

Chadwick Walton is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH! He says that his stand with Mehidy Hasan was the key. He credits Khulna Tigers for the way he played and says that it is unfortunate to see someone like Andre Fletcher leaving the tournament. Adds that he needed to bat as long as possible in this game and luckily he delivered for his side.

Mushfiqur Rahim, the skipper of Khulna Tigers, is having a chat now. He says that they gave them too many easy balls and chasing 190 was not going to be easy here. But says that they batted really well and were in the game as Andre Fletcher fought till the end but the wicket of Yasir Ali was the turning point.

Yasir Ali joined Fletcher in the middle and the boundaries dried up a bit for a handful of overs. 60 were needed in the last 5 overs but with Fletcher out there, one would back the side chasing to win the game. But it was the brilliant hitting by Yasir Ali that got Khulna Tigers closer to the target. 24 were needed in the last 2 overs and then, Chattogram Challengers scripted their comeback. The wicket of Yasir Ali in the penultimate over gave Chattogram Challengers a sniff at a victory. Shoriful Islam gave only 8 runs in that over and got the wicket. The equation was 16 from the last over with Mehidy Hasan set to bowl, and the willy spinner delivered for his team! Khulna Tigers fell short by 7 runs and despite an 80-run knock by Fletcher, he could not see his team through.

Khulna Tigers had a good start as they scored 58 runs in the Powerplay despite losing two wickets. But they had Andre Fletcher and Mushfiqur Rahim batting really well in the middle. As long as they were out in the middle, the game was in their bag. But the wicket of Rahim in the 13th over made things a bit more interesting. The 64-run stand was broken and Chattogram Challengers were back in it.

MEHIDY HASAN HAS DONE IT! Credit to Shoriful Islam too for the way he bowled the 19th over! Wow, what a game! Khulna Tigers had it in their bag but Chattogram Challengers have scripted a sensational comeback! Andre Fletcher is distraught that he could not get his team over the line! He batted really well but it was not to be for his team here. But full credit to Mehidy Hasan and Shoriful Islam for the way they bowled in the last two overs! Chattogram Challengers are through to play in Qualifier 2!
