That concludes the game. On 29th of this month, three games are coming your way. The action begins with Team Abu Dhabi taking on Morrisville Samp Army first. Join us for all the action at 5.30 pm IST (12 pm GMT). Join us early for the build up. Till then, cheers.
Rovman Powell says he is happy with the win and to win with such a big margin. Adds they talked about somebody going big and it did today. Reckons they have to keep encouraging the players as the win can come anytime and shift the momentum.
Usman Khan, the Player of the Match award winner.
...Presentation coming up...
The Chennai Braves were always behind the 8-ball, with such a big score, they needed a good start but Adam Rossington and Dawid Malan failed to give so. The stand between Carlos Brathwaite and James Fuller looked dangerous for a bit but once Carlos Brathwaite fell, it was just a mere procession from then. A better start could have helped The Chennai Braves to at least get near the score.
With this victory, Northern Warriors jump in the top half of the table. The win was well set up by the batters though. It was the opening stand between Usman Khan and Adam Lyth that bossed the innings. In no time, Northern Warriors scored 100 runs and ended with an above par score of 141. The bowlers had enough run to play with and they did well to keep things under control throughout the game. A comfortable win in the end.
