Cummins gets back on the stage and lifts the silverware! His team joins him and they pose for the cameras! That ends the Ashes and we thank you for joining us for the coverage. Hope you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed covering these games for you. Do keep us company for we have plenty of cricket coming up. The U-19 World Cup, the BBL, India's ODI series against South Africa - you name it. We look forward to your company for all this and more. Take care and goodbye for now!
Travis Head is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH AND PLAYER OF THE SERIES! Travis Head says that he is happy to have an impact and says that his century in this Test match is a bit special because the conditions were just a bit more challenging. He adds that he has worked a lot on his game in the past couple of years and there were always batters ahead of him so he had to put on a good show. Mentions that all the players in the team are performing really well and says that there's competition for every single place in the side. He ends by saying that these are challenging times and thanks the English team for coming out here to play,
Pat Cummins, the winning Australian captain, says that this is what dreams are made off and to win the series 4-0 is a great feeling. Adds that he is really happy as captain with the bowling but jokes that Lyon may not agree with his decisions in this Test. Praises Green for how he has played throughout the series with both the bat and the ball. Also praises Boland for the way he has bowled. Mentions that he is excited about their series overseas as it would provide different challenges. To finish things off, he thanks the ECB, CA and the English players for touring under tough global conditions, and also the general public for their support.
Joe Root, the English skipper, says that it has been a frustrating and tough tour and they just haven't been able to put on consistent performances throughout a match. He adds that this is a challenge they faced and they need to go home and reflect on this and it won't be long before they play Test cricket again. Mentions that they were completed outplayed in all departments of the game and acknowledges that their opponents were superior. He then gives credit to his bowlers as well and hails Mark Wood for his sensational work throughout the series. He ends by congratulating the Australian skipper and his team for the series win.
Right then. Plenty of interviews coming up in the presentation. Stick around.
England had to chase down 271 runs to win this game. It looked unlikely given how they have batted so far but the opening pair of Zak Crawley and Rory Burns did a really good job in the second session of Day 3. They put on 68 runs together but the wicket of Burns just before Tea was all that Australia needed to make inroads in the English batting. A disappointing finish for England. They played well in patches but lacked the killer instinct to finish things off. Mark Wood was probably their standout player. Never gave up, never got tired, always gave it his all. Take a bow, lad!
England though did not give up and had a brilliant outing with the ball in the second innings. Mark Wood led from the front with a career-best 6-wicket haul and Stuart Broad took 3. The Australian batters had a tough time as Mark Wood attacked them with plenty of short ones. Still, the contributions by Cameron Green and Alex Carey lower down in the order got them to 155 with a total lead of 270.
England had a really tough first innings with the bat. Their top order faltered once again and it was some handy batting from the lower order that somehow got them to 188. The Aussies did not need Nathan Lyon to bowl as the pacers did the job with ease. Pat Cummins led the attack with 4 wickets and was well supported by Mitchell Starc's 3 wickets.
Earlier in the Test, England started really well on Day 1 with 3 early wickets but the Aussies recovered well. Led by a brilliant ton by Travis Head and a fifty by Cameron Green, they went onto score 303 runs in the first innings. The English bowlers bowled decently with everyone with the exception of Joe Root taking wickets.
But the bowling of Cameron Green changed things completely. He got the wicket of Rory Burns right at the stroke of Tea and then after the break, he took 2 more to put them in big trouble. The stand between Joe Root and Ben Stokes was probably the last hope for England and once that was broken, they had no answers to some brilliant and consistent bowling from the Aussies. The pacers ruled the roost as Nathan Lyon did not get to bowl a single over in the game. England lost 10 wickets for just 56 runs and that tells you the entire story.
The target for England was quite big but they had plenty of time to chase it down. It was quite certain that there would be a result in the game given how much time there was. But for a change, the English openers put on a brilliant stand at the top. They batted with intent and got boundaries when the bowlers erred. Things were looking great for them in the second session and it looked like they could potentially win this game.
IT IS 4-0! What a show by Australia! They have dominated the entire series and this game was no different. When the English bowlers put them under pressure, they punched back. Their pacers had the batters on the feet through the series and were relentless. England had a very tough tour. After being outplayed in the first three Tests, they put on a great fight in Sydney to draw the game. They played really well in this Test too and had a really good chance to win this game. But they lost their plot in one session. Yes, in one session. The wheels came off the rails in the post-Tea session here and they crumbled under pressure. Take nothing away from the Aussies though as they will keep the Ashes Urn and there will be a party for sure!

Pat Cummins To Ollie Robinson OUT!
OUT! BOWLED! What a way to end the series as it is the captain, Pat Cummins, who gets the final wicket and takes his team to victory! Full, fast and dead straight. Ollie Robinson moves across the leg stump and just has no answer for the yorker. The ball shatters the stumps and AUSTRALIA WIN BY 146 RUNS AND WIN THE ASHES 4-0!

Another short ball, on middle. Broad backs away and plays it towards backward point for a run.

Pat Cummins To Mark Wood OUT!
OUT! BOWLED! Cummins gets his man! Mark Wood knows there's no point in hanging around and looks to go out with a few lusty blows. A short ball, outside off and Wood shuffles across looking to hook it away. The ball hurries onto him and he ends up getting an inside edge back onto the stumps and that's just been the story of this series. The English team just throwing in the towel way too early.

Scott Boland To Chris Woakes OUT!
OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Edged and taken wonderfully by Alex Carey! Boland goes fuller, around off. Chris Woakes gives himself room and goes for the big heave on the leg side. The ball comes off the outside edge and flies to the right of the keeper. Alex Carey springs and takes a gem of a catch. Woakes perishes and Australia just two wickets away now from victory.
