Australia Women beat India Women by 10 wickets
And that's a wrap! The Indian side started strong by winning the T20I series 2-1, but Australia showed their class by winning all three ODIs to take a commanding lead. Today was a momentous occasion as Australia officially sealed this multi-format series by a 12-4 win over the reigning ODI world champions, and the team happily posed for celebratory pictures with the trophy. Alyssa Healy, a true legend of the sport, signs off from her incredible international career in the best way possible. While we bid farewell to this cricket icon, the exciting action is far from over. Be sure to join us later at 1.30 pm GMT as the Indian Men's team takes on New Zealand in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Until then, goodbye and cheers!
Thankyou, Alyssa Healy! Alyssa Healy is given a grand reception on stage as she retires from international cricket. Let's now hear from her one last time in the Baggy Green. She starts by saying that the way they bounced back after the disappointment of the T20 series was amazing to see, and she's proud of the girls. Has a chuckle and says that Lucy Hamilton mentioned that Test cricket is now her favorite form of cricket and goes on to praise the youngsters, hoping that they can do well not just in the purest form of cricket but in all forms of cricket. Further, Healy mentions that she will be watching the team and hopes that Sophie Molineux can take the team forward. Mentions that she has enjoyed the last week and gives thanks to everyone for being here. On the temptation to open in the final innings, Healy says that it wasn't about her but about the new generation. Healy says a few words on the Indian team and thanks them for making the series one to remember and mentions that they will bring the heat in the T20 World Cup later in the year. Ends by thanking everyone once again for their continued support as she bows out.
Indian Skipper - Harmanpreet Kaur says that they started well and played good T20, but they couldn't continue. She says that it was a good series overall, and they had plenty to learn. She further says that it was great fun and she hopes to get more opportunities, as it was challenging to play with the pink ball. She mentions that they have got a lot of support from their coaches and the Indian fans. Unfortunately, it was not a good day for them, but they will try to play good cricket in the future.
Player of the Match - Annabel Sutherland is the Player of the Match and the Player of the Series. She says that she is feeling pretty nice winning the series and sending off Midgey (Alyssa Healy) with a great win. On being asked how she prepare herself as she have performed really well through out the series, she states that India is a formidable opponent. They were really well in T20s, but his team made a comeback in ODIs and got their final win in this Test. Also adds that you have to click and perform when you are playing against a hard opponent. On her future in Test cricket, she says there are few left, but she will make sure that she takes the opportunity to count on every single one of them.
Presentations coming up...
A quick chat with Alana King - Alana King starts off sharing that she is extremely happy to play her part right and to contribute to the win. On Alyssa Healy's contribution to the Australian Cricket, King says that she is glad that Healy finishes off with style. Adds that he was an outstanding captain and was a pillar of the cricket since a very long time. On being asked about the best memories, she says tat 2022 World Cup in New Zealand will always stay in her. But apart from those, there are many off the field memories that she will cherish for the rest of her life. Ends up joking that she hopes Healy continues her golf course.
A swift chase to finish things off - With a target of only 25 runs to win the game, the chase was just a mere formality. Openers Georgia Voll and Phoebe Litchfield easily chased down the total in a flash, sealing the match for the hosts.
Indian batting collapsed again - Facing a huge deficit, India's batting fell apart in their second turn, managing only 149 runs. Pratika Rawal fought bravely for her first Test fifty, but the Australian bowlers were just too good. The pace attack did the early damage, and spinners Ashleigh Gardner and Alana King quickly finished off the rest of the lineup in the first session of Day 3.
Australia took a big lead - Australia responded strongly by scoring 323 runs, giving them a massive 125-run lead. Annabel Sutherland was the star of the innings with a brilliant century, and veteran Ellyse Perry added a solid 76. For India, debutant Sayali Satghare bowled wonderfully to take four wickets.
India struggled early on - India batted first but had a tough time against the pink ball, getting bowled out for just 198 runs on the very first day. Jemimah Rodrigues played well to score 52, but the team kept losing wickets. Australia's Annabel Sutherland led the bowling attack with four wickets, while debutant Lucy Hamilton took three.
A perfect farewell for Alyssa Healy! Alyssa Healy has ended her amazing cricket career on a brilliant note! She lifts the series trophy as Australia secures a huge and convincing victory over India in this one-off Test match, giving her the perfect send-off.

Huge appeal for Leg Before Wicket and up goes the finger of the umpire. Georgia Voll has a chat with his partner and decides to take the review. Satghare bowls it on a good length, pitching it outside off and nipping it in sharply. Georgia Voll looks to work it across the line but gets beaten and hits her front pad. The Ball Tracking shows up and indicates that the trajectory of the delivery is missing down the leg side. That's an excellent review and Voll gets a lifeline.
