It is confirmed now that Sourav Ganguly will play the Sydney Test on Wednesday.
Ganguly was down with high fever and was feeling unwell while batting in the second innings.
Ganguly was the second highest scorer in the second innings, he made 40.
Meanwhile Australia will field the same playing eleven as the Melbourne Test while Wasim Jaffer could be replaced by Virender Sehwag in the playing eleven on India's side.
