4 OUT! TAKEN! England have the first wicket. Alex Green keeps it simple. Bowls a good length delivery, around the sixth stump line. Aaron George reaches away from his body to punch it away, but slices it to the right of the point fielder. Ben Mayes flies across and takes a well-judged catch. So, the centurion from the second Semi-Final against Afghanistan goes for just 9 to his name in the Final. India are 20/1. 20/1

| Vaibhav Sooryavanshi | 175 | 80 | 15 | 15 | 218.75 |
25.3 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! A knock for the ages from Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. 175 off 80 balls, laced with 15 sixes and as many fours. Good to see a few English players walking up and congratulating him. Manny Lumsden comes from around the wicket and takes pace off, on a back of a length. Sooryavanshi gets down on a knee and tries to get inside the line and help it away. He is tucked up for room and the ball spoons off his gloves. The keeper, Thomas Rew, moves to his right and takes the catch around his shoulder. The 89-run stand has been broken. India are 251/3. 251/3

| Ayush Mhatre C | 53 | 51 | 7 | 2 | 103.92 |
19 OUT! Fifty and out for Mhatre. A wicket against the run of play for England. Back of a length around off, climbing on the batter. Ayush rocks back, shapes for a pull, but the ball hurries him into an awkward tangle. He drags it off the top edge of the bat, and it balloons towards deep backward square leg. Ben Mayes keeps his cool, settles under it, and pouches a clean catch. Ayush Mhatre departs for 53 off 51 and India are 162/2. 162/2
| Vedant Trivedi | 32 | 36 | 3 | 0 | 88.88 |
36.3 OUT! MISTIMED AND GONE! India have lost two set batters in a quick interval now. This is speared ona fuller length, aimed at the pads. Vedant Trivedi attempts to whip that over the leg side, but mistimes it off the toe end. Gets more height than distance and the ball goes straight down the throat of Ben Mayes at deep backward square leg, who takes a simple catch. Vedant Trivedi departs on 32 off 36. India are 308/5. 308/5
| Vihaan Malhotra | 30 | 36 | 2 | 0 | 83.33 |
34.2 OUT! TAKEN! A soft dismissal and Vihaan Malhotra has to go. Minto bowls the hard length from over the wicket and around off, Vihaan Malhotra is pegged back and forces his lofted shot. Gets a bit cramped as well, it goes off the slice to mid off where Ben Dawkins takes a sitter. Vihaan Malhotra goes for 30 (36). India are 302/4. 302/4
| Abhigyan Kundu Wk | 40 | 31 | 6 | 1 | 129.03 |
44.2 OUT! CAUGHT! Abhigyan Kundu holes out. Not quite a wicket-taking delivery as this is a low full toss, outside off. Kundu shuffles across the stumps for the scoop but is tucked up for room. He is unable to get inside the line of the ball to get the scoop away. Ends up spooning it to short fine leg, where Ralphie Albert takes a couple of steps back and does the rest. 40 (31) for Kundu. India are now 359/6. 359/6
| R.S. Ambrish | 18 | 24 | 2 | 0 | 75 |
45.1 OUT! CASTLED! The off stump goes for a walk. Immediate impact from James Minto on his return to the attack. Cross-seam ball, on a good length, in and around the off pole. Ambrish stays on the back foot and looks to use the pace. Stays leg side of the ball and tries to run it down with an open bat face. A hint of nip away off the deck and Ambrish is beaten on the outside edge. The ball goes on to uproot the off stump. Ambrish falls for 18 (24). India are now 7 down for 367. 367/7

| Khilan A. Patel | 3 | 4 | 0 | 0 | 75 |
46.4 OUT! CAUGHT! Joe Moores just about holds on. England continue to pick up wickets. Morgan angles it in, on a length, on middle. Khilan has a big swing across the line. Gets it right off the toe end of the blade and it is skied towards deep mid-wicket. Moores runs in off the ropes and tries to take the catch close to his chest. A bit of a bobble but Joe clings on. India are now 8 down for 375. They are in danger of being bowled out and not batting the full 50 overs. Who would have thought when Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was putting on a show? 375/8
| Henil Patel | 5 | 7 | 0 | 0 | 71.42 |
49 OUT! HENIL PATEL IS RUN OUT! Morgan bashes the hard length, over middle. Patel backs away and swings for the hills. Skies it in front of square leg. Two fielders converge from the deep and Manny Lumsden is the one who collects the ball and fires in a throw at the batting end. Henil is struggling to complete the second as the keeper, Thomas Rew, collects the ball and breaks the stumps. The third umpire is called into action. The replays show that Rew collected the ball in front of the stumps and even though his right elbow broke the stumps, it was after he had gathered the ball in his gloves. Henil is deemed out. India are 393/9. 393/9

20.4 OUT! CAUGHT! Ayush Mhatre strikes with his golden arm. England suffer another blow. Drags the length back a bit, on off. Dawkins backs away and cracks the drive. He picks the bones out of it but fails to get it wide enough of the extra cover fielder. Khilan A. Patel moves to his left on the edge of the ring and snaffles a sharp catch around his left shoulder. He nonchalantly flicks it over his shoulder after completing the catch. 66 off 56 for Ben Dawkins and England are 174/4, chasing 412. 174/4

| Joe Moores | 17 | 16 | 4 | 0 | 106.25 |
4.5 OUT! DRAGGED ON! The dropped catch in the previous over does not cost India much. Joe Moores had just started to get going, but his stay has been cut short. Ambrish bashes the hard length, on off. Moores gets on his toes to ride the bounce and punch it away. The ball is a bit too close to his body and he ends up dragging the inside edge back onto the leg stump, which gets uprooted. 17 (16) for Joe. England are now 19/1, chasing 412. 19/1

| Ben Mayes | 45 | 28 | 7 | 2 | 160.71 |
13 OUT! CAUGHT! Six and out for Mayes. Khilan lets out a huge roar as India have their second wicket. Full, on middle and leg. Ben Mayes goes for the reverse sweep, but there is a bit of extra bounce and hence, he fails to get underneath it properly. Only manages a thick top edge which flies over the backward point region. Henil Patel comes running across and takes a fine catch. Ben Mayes departs on a quickfire 45 off 28. England are 93/2, chasing 412. 93/2

| Thomas Rew C Wk | 31 | 18 | 4 | 1 | 172.22 |
18 OUT! CAUGHT! That's a massive, massive blow to England. The Indians are up and about as one. Chouhan dishes a length ball, around the off pole, Thomas Rew gives the bowler the charge by staying leg side, looks to smash it over cover, but does not get under it properly. Hits it flat from the toe end and Ayush Mhatre takes a very alert catch at the cover region. Thomas Rew falls for a breezy 31 from 18 balls. England are 142/3, needing 270 more. 142/3

| Caleb Falconer | 115 | 67 | 9 | 7 | 171.64 |
40.2 OUT! CAUGHT! The Boys in Blue have done it. Chouhan fires it full around off, Falconer shuffles back to manufacture room and steer it into the off side, but the ball only finds the edge. It flies towards backward point, dips teasingly in front of the fielder. Khilan A. Patel throws himself forward to pluck it just inches above the turf. India erupt in celebration, but the third umpire steps in to check whether the catch was taken cleanly or if it's a bump ball. The replays confirm it travelled straight to the fielder, and Khilan ensured his fingers were safely underneath the ball as he completed a clean catch. So, the verdict goes in favour of India as OUT loads on the giant screen. Falconer is on his haunches in absolute dismay. The celebrations start in the Indian dressing room and the joy knows no bounds in the blue camp. A couple of Indian players uproot the stumps and pick them up as keepsakes. INDIA WIN BY 100 RUNS! 311/10

| Ralphie Albert | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
21 OUT! RALPHIE ALBERT IS RUN OUT! Disaster for England. Shorter and on off, Albert punches it to backward point, where Khilan A. Patel dives to his right and cuts it off. While lying on the floor, Khilan picks the ball up, turns around to his left side and fires the throw on the bounce at the batting end. A bit of yes and no between the two batters and Albert is caught stranded halfway down the track. He is at a point of no return and the keeper, Abhigyan Kundu, does the rest with Ralphie nowhere in the frame. Farhan Ahmed is the new batter. 174/5

| Farhan Ahmed | 1 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 50 |
21.4 OUT! GONE! Deepesh bends his back and generates extra bounce on a back of a length ball outside off. Farhan stays deep in the crease and looks to dab it behind square on the off side, but only manages a thin nick through to the keeper. Kundu moves to his right and snaffles it cleanly behind the stumps. 174/3 becomes 177/6 for England. They need 235 more. 177/6

| Sebastian Morgan | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
22 OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! D. Deepesh just about manages to cling on and India are jubilant. It is all going downhill for England. Cross-seam delivery, on a good length, on off. Morgan drives it on the up back towards the bowler. Deepesh tries to take the catch to his right on the follow-through. The ball gets a bit big on him but he manages to get both hands close to his chest and clings on. England are 177/7, chasing 412. 177/7

| James Minto | 28 | 41 | 1 | 0 | 68.29 |
35.2 OUT! CAUGHT! Ambrish breaks the 92-run partnership for the eighth wicket. Slammed really hard into the pitch, around the leg stump line, climbing at shoulder height of the batter. James Minto is rushed on the pull shot and only manages a fat top edge. The ball spoons over towards backward point. The sub fielder, Mohamed Enaan, moves a bit to his right in the inner ring and takes a safe catch. James Minto falls for 28 off 41 and England are 269/8, needing 143 from 88 balls. 269/8

| Manny Lumsden | 3 | 10 | 0 | 0 | 30 |
38 OUT! IN THE AIR AND TAKEN! Wicket number 3 for Ambrish and India are just one wicket away from glory. A well-directed short ball from Ambrish, into the pitch and rearing up at an uncomfortable height on the bodyline. Manny Lumsden goes through with the pull shot, but gets no power or timing due to the lack of room. Airs it towards deep square leg. Vedant Trivedi runs in off the ropes and takes a good catch. England are 281/9. 281/9
