The duo beat New Zealand's Joelle King and Amanda Landers-Murphy 11-9, 11-5 in the quarterfinal at the Scotstoun Sports Campus. (Indian wrestlers wrap up two gold, a silver and a bronze)
Meanwhile, Saurav Ghosal and Harinder Pal Sandhu brought up a tough but crucial win in men's doubles to advance to the quarter-finals by overcoming local pair Stuart Crawford and Greg Lobban 5-11, 11-8, 9-11 in the Round of 16. (Vikas Gowda bags Discus gold)
Later, Ghosal and Dipika paired up to move past Welsh combine David Evans and Deon Saffery 11-8, 11-4, entering the mixed doubles quaters. (Indian men's hockey team in semis)
Sandhu and Joshana then first beat Schubert Maketu and Eli Webb of Papua New Guinea 11-5, 11-4 in their last pool match to advance to the Round of 16 where they drubbed Malaysians Mohammed Adnan and Delia Arnold 118, 11-9 to make it to the last eight of mixed doubles.
