New Delhi:
Viswanathan Anand added yet another feather to his cap over the weekend, by winning the Linares Super Grandmasters Chess Tournament.
The feat ensured that he would become the World Number one for the first time ever when the latest rankings are released next month.
He did win the World Championships in 2000 but then Garry Kasparov was No 1 in the world. The other huge achievement in his glittering two-decade-long career came recently, when he became one of only four players to cross the 2800 ELo-rationg mark
