Vijender Singh vs Samet Hyuseinov Pro Boxing Highlights: Indian Knocks Out Bulgarian

Vijender Singh is on a roll as he registered his third consecutive knock out win in the professional boxing career. Vijender was on the frontfoot from the word go, whereas the experienced pro boxer Samet Hyuseinov was circumspect. Barely 30 seconds in the second round, the Bhiwani boxer ended the bout with a Technical Knock Out win over the Bulgarian. Catch all the highlights here.
23:00 hrs IST: Vijender Singh after winning the bout: am happy for another knockout win and making it 3-0. Attacking strategy on Samet from the very first minute of the first round helped me a lot to win this game in the second round. For my third bout I have done a lot of physical hardwork and have improved my technique also which helped to win today's game against an opponent who has experience of playing 14 bouts. I was confident to beat him. My win is a Christmas gift for all my Indian friends and fans and I am feeling happy that i ended year on a winning note.
22:52 hrs IST: Samet Hyuseinov was cautious to start with, which perhaps gave Vijender the confidence to attack more in the second round. 30 seconds into the second round, Vijender had the Bulgarian on the ropes, unable to reply to the left-right combination from Bhiwani boxer.
22:45 hrs IST: It's Over! Vijender Singh makes it three-in-three as he defeats Samet Hyuseinov in the second round. The round which lasted barely for 40 seconds, saw the Bhiwani boxer land heavy punches on the Bulgarian. The referee called the game as the Bulgarian was in no point to continue.
22:40 hrs IST: FIRST Round to Vijender! Vijender Singh have started off well against Samet Hyuseinov. He landed couple punches on  the Bulgarian, who suprisingly was defensive.

22:25 hrs IST: Vijender made a great start to his professional boxing career, by winning firstly against Sonny Whiting then against Dean Gillen. While against Whiting, Vijender registered a technical knockout win, against Gillen, the Indian knocked the Briton out in the first round itself.

Vijender has been on song so far in his short professional career. With two emphatic wins - a Technical Knockout against Sonny Whiting in October, followed by a first-round knockout of Dean Gillen in November - Vijender has looked solid. But against Hyuseinov, the contest should be tougher. Saturday's fight will be a six-round affair, unlike the four-round bouts in his first two matches. It will test both Vijender's durability and skills over a longer bout.
He loves to throw his punches and it will be interesting to see how Vijender conserves his energies against the 29-year-old Sofia resident. Hyuseinov is experienced and has fought several bouts over six rounds. He has sounded the alarm bells for the Bhiwani superstar.
