Mosley, Vargas prepare for rematch

Fernando Vargas and Shane Mosley held a pre-fight press conference on Wednesday ahead of their highly anticipated rematch this Saturday in Las Vegas. When the two first met last February, Mosley won when Vargas' left eye swelled shut forcing the referee to stop the fight in the 10th round. However, Vargas had claimed that it was a head butt that caused the enormous swelling around his eye. Mosley contends that it was simply his repeated right hands to the head. "I've worked hard and I'm thankful to Shane Mosley for the opportunity in granting me a rematch. I look forward to this fight. I've worked hard. Now we're looking forward to this," said Vargas. The rematch is scheduled for July 15 where we will find out who is the better fighter in the 154 pounds (70kg) category. (AP)
