But Mumbai has the talent in their batting unit to chase this huge total, as it is all on their shoulder to bring the match home. Delhi once again showcased their batting prowess, in front of their home crowd. The openers lit up from the first over and made the whole profit of the powerplay. However, the opening partnership broke with the dismissal of Shafali Verma in the fifth over. But Alice Capsey did well to fill the shoe and form another sturdy partnership. Well, things were not in her favor and she too had to walk down towards her pavilion. After that event, the pace of the runs slowed down but the skipper, Meg Lanning completed her half-century just before she got dismissed. She played an exceptional knock and scored 53 runs off 38 deliveries. However, Jemimah Rodrigues took care of the scoreline and started slicing the ball like any other fruit all over the ground. She was outstanding with her strokeplay and smoked 8 boundaries and 3 towing sixes to score 69 runs off just 33 deliveries. She was there till the end of the inning to put up a humongous target of 193 runs on board to challenge the opposition's batters.
