Sania-Vesnina advance to finals of Indian Wells
Sania Mirza and her Russian partner Elena Vesnina came from a set down to register a hard-fought victory over the Czech combo of Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka and enter into the final of the WTA Indian Wells Premier event here.

Sania Mirza and her Russian partner Elena Vesnina came from a set down to register a hard-fought victory over the Czech combo of Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka and enter into the final of the WTA Indian Wells Premier event here.
The second seeds Indo-Russian pair took an hour and 45 minutes to get the better of third seeded Czechs 5-7 7-5 10-3.
Though there was little to chose between the two teams but Sania and Vesnina managed keep their nerves.
They won 25 out of 42 points as compared to their Czech opponents who could win 32 out 56 points.
Sania and Vesnina will now take on the winners of another semifinal match between number one seeded USA pair of Liezel Huber and Lisa Raymond and unseeded Czech duo of Iveta Benesova and Barbora Zahlavova Strycova.
