Righ then, West Indies have posted a decent total but they know that they should have scored way more looking at the pitch. Their bowlers now have their task cut out to defend this one. India has a lot of batting firepower in their ranks and will be hopeful that they deliver to gun this total down and level the series. Join us in a bit to see how the chase unfolds.

Shai Hope is down for a quick chat. He says that they started well but didn't do justice in the middle overs and then applauds Shimron Hetmyer for the way he batted and they finished well. Mentions that he tries to stay positive against the bowlers and a couple of partnerships were crucial for them. Adds that getting the opportunity to play is a big thing and hopes that his contribution gives them the win.

India, on the other hand, can take a lot of positives from their bowling effort. After struggling a bit initially, Arshdeep Singh started things off by getting rid of both the openers. Kuldeep Yadav followed it with a fantastic opening over where he sent both Pooran and Powell packing which gave the momentum to the visitors. They did not give too many loose balls to the hosts and controlled the game for most parts. Mukesh Kumar was once again brilliant with his yorkers and got one wicket while Yuzvendra Chahal who was expensive chipped in with one as well, and Axar Patel picked up one too. However, Arshdeep Singh ended up three wickets but gave a few too many in the last over which he will not be happy about.

West Indies got off to a decent start with Kyle Mayers playing a few lusty blows before getting out in the second over. Brandon King and Shai Hope who came in the side for Johnson Charles then steadied things for a bit, but they suffered a mini collapse as they went from 54-1 to 57-4 losing both Nicholas Pooran and Rovman Powell in the process. After that, Shimron Hetmyer and Hope tried to control things with a 49-run stand, but once the latter was dismissed for 45 off just 29 balls, it went downhill for the hosts. However, Hettie did not give his wicket away and continued to find those crucial boundaries in the middle. He registered an excellent fifty and took the attack to India at the fag end of the innings while some good blows from Akeal Hosein and Odean Smith can help them take that momentum into their bowling now.

A fine all-round bowling show from India! They were right on point with their line and lengths on a wicket that didn't offer much to the bowlers and restricted West Indies to 178. There were a couple of individual performers for the hosts, most notably the gritty half-century from Shimron Hetmyer, but India will still be the happier side going into the break.

19.6 overs (6 Runs) SIX! BANG! Odean Smith flexes his muscles and finishes the innings off in style. On a good length outside off, Smith just hangs deep in his crease and thumps it well over the long off fence for a biggie. West Indies get 17 runs off the final over and finish with 178/8.

19.5 overs (0 Run) Nicely bowled! Another knuckle ball, bowled into the pitch and angling in a long way from around off. Odean Smith looks to come forward and pull but is beaten all ends up.

19.4 overs (1 Run) Full and wide again, this time there is a fielder at long off and Akeal Hosein drives the ball straight toward him for just a single.

19.3 overs (4 Runs) FOUR! Hardik Pandya didn't move an inch! Full and around off, driven firmly by Akeal Hosein straight past mid off and the ball runs away to the fence.

19.2 overs (0 Run) OUT! TAKEN! A brilliant catch to get the big wicket. Arshdeep Singh comes back stronger after getting dispatched first ball and bowls a knuckle-ball bumper outside off. Shimron Hetmyer comes forward and tries to flat-bat it over long on. The ball is slower and Hetmyer ends up toe-ending the forehand slap toward long on. Tilak Varma there dives forward and grabs it just before the ball hit the ground and Hetmyer has to walk back after a stellar knock.

19.1 overs (6 Runs) SIX! Starts the over with a biggie! In the slot, angling into the stumps, Shimron Hetmyer tees off with the wind and smokes it a long way over cow corner for amaximum.

17.3 overs (1 Run) Slower one, banged into the deck and around off. Odean Smith gets on top of the bounce and pulls it down to deep mid-wicket for a run.

17.2 overs (2 Runs) A low full toss outside off, Odean Smith frees his arms and drives it wide of the man at sweeper cover for a couple of runs.

16.2 overs (6 Runs) SIX! Wow, that has carried all the way! Floated up, a bit fuller and outside off, Shimron Hetmyer opens up the off side and drives it all the way over the cover fence for a maximum.
