Wild at the WACA - Aussies celebrate Ashes triumph
After four long years and three successive Ashes series defeats, Australia have finally reclaimed the coveted urn with a thumbing victory at WACA.
The final wicket of the 3rd Test (James Anderson) sparked wild celebrations from the Aussies. They had taken an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series and reclaimed the urn.
After four long years and three successive Ashes series defeats, one can forgive David Warner for attempting a leap on his teammates.
The pace trio Ryan Harris, Mitchell Johnson and Peter Siddle were much more composed than Warner. On the field they caused widespread carnage among English ranks though.
Darren Lehmann has to take a lot of plaudits for the Aussie turnaround. Both Michael Clarke and former great Adam Gilchrist caid 'Buff' was a great source of inspiration.
Its seems Lehmann has transformed David Warner as well - on and off the field!
Clarke though is far from finished. He wants to complete a 5-0 whitewash and is targeting the No.1 Test ranking for his Australian side.
