Wozniacki, Stosur set for US clay event
World number one Caroline Wozniacki and defending champion Samantha Stosur of Australia are among those who will play in April's WTA clay-court event here, organizers said on Friday.

Wozniacki, a 20-year-old Dane who has won 13 WTA titles and more than $8.5 million in her six tour seasons, moved past injured US star Serena Williams last October to capture the top ranking.
Others who have agreed to play in the 56-women field April 2-10 in the only major women's clay event on US soil, include Russian star Maria Sharapova, 2007 Charleston winner Jelena Jankovic of Serbia and American Melanie Oudin.
Stosur beat Russia's Vera Zvonareva 6-0, 6-3 in last year's final of the $721,000 tournmament, firing 36 winners to win the event's fastest-ever final in only 52 minutes for her second career WTA title.
