Spain to announce Davis Cup host city on Oct 7

The Spanish tennis federation will announce on October 7 which city will host the Davis Cup final in December between Spain and Argentina.

The Spanish tennis federation will announce on October 7 which city will host the Davis Cup final in December between Spain and Argentina.

Seville, Malaga and Valencia are the three cities in the race to host the event, which will take place December 2-4, the federation said in a statement.

Spain have dominated over the last decade, winning in 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2009, and have not lost at home since 1999.

It will be the fourth final for Argentina, who have never lifted the trophy.
