Argentinian Juan Martin Del Potro made up for his defeat in the Rotterdam final last Sunday by taking the Marseille event on Sunday for his 10th career title, defeating Frenchman Michael Llodra, 6-4, 6-4.
The number four seed, beaten by Roger Federer in the Netherlands last weekend, broke Llodra once in each set to wrap up the final victory in 83 minutes.
The Argentine increased his undefeated record against the 2010 champion to a 3-0 mark, having also claimed their first-round encounter at Rotterdam last week.
Sunday's win was also Del Potro's first indoor crown, after finishing runner-up in his previous finals.
"I lost three finals indoors and I thought that I would never win one," said Del Potro, the 2009 US Open champion and who put out top seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in Saturday's semi-finals.
"This shows that I have progressed. On this surface I have beaten lots of good players."
"I am proud to win this title because at this moment it's very important for me and for my season."
