New Delhi :

Former Olympian Dawn Fraser has urged the Australian athletes to reconsider taking part in the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Delhi saying that the organisers may not be equipped to prevent a repeat of the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre.

During the 1972 Olympics, members of the Israeli team were taken hostage and eventually murdered by Palestinian terrorist group 'Black September'.

In an interview to Herald Sun the former champion swimmer has said if the organisers can't get a hockey stadium ready, they can't possibly put the security in place either and prevent another Munich-like situation.

She has also expressed concerns about security, sanitation, health and even the quality of food. Several of Australia's star athletes are scheduled to feature in the Delhi games.
