Punjab holds 'rural Olympics'

India might be bidding for the 2016 Olympics but the country already plays host to a different format of Olympics. Punjab's Qila Raipur village annually hosts a three-day sporting event, which is popularly known as the Rural Olympics. Of course, there are no bidding wars to host it. However, in this Olympics, bullock cart races, tug of war and kabaddi replace badminton, sailing and judo.
