Mayo College students set to revive polo
The polo season is in full swing in Jaipur once considered the home ground of polo, which churned out huge polo talent in the 50s and 60s, but now there are few very institutions that still support polo, like the 61st cavalry. However, in a bid to popularise the sport among schools the Mayo College school from Ajmer held a special afternoon of polo. The mayo boys are the only school that plays polo and they say other public schools should also pick up the sport.
