Curious case of the fake Gold Cup
Hyderabad cricket is saying 'Howzatt'. With revelation that the Moin-ud-Dowlah Gold Cup in its association's possession, was most likely swapped with a fake one, which is not entirely made of gold. And jewellers who had valued the Cup at Rs 2.77 lakh rupees 23 years back, now say this Cup is worth just 90,000 rupees. When at today's gold price, it should be worth several lakhs.
