Commonwealth Games in jeopardy?
The 27 acres of land available for the 2010 Commonwealth Games have the organising committee in a bit of a tizzy. A pile of public interest litigations filed last year had alleged that the construction of the village was ecologically harmful. And while the Delhi High Court responded by refusing to put a stop to the construction, the matter is still being contested in the courts.
