Swede Karlsson to coach budding Indian TT players

Former Swedish paddler Peter Karlsson and ex-India international Kamlesh Mehta will coach the upcoming Indian table tennis players in Indore from June 27 to July 3.

Former Swedish paddler Peter Karlsson and ex-India international Kamlesh Mehta will coach the upcoming Indian table tennis players in Indore from June 27 to July 3.

The seven-day long coaching camp will be held at Abhay Prashal in which 60 players from different parts of the country will take part, Madhya Pradesh Table Tennis Association secretary Jayesh Acharya said on Friday.

Karlsson was a member of a very successful Sweden table tennis team that won four world team championships in the early 90s.

He also has a world doubles title to his credit.
