Hyderabad to host World Table Tennis Championship in 2013

Hyderabad will host the World Table Tennis Championship scheduled in 2013, TTFI general secretary Dhanraj Choudhary informed the media on Sunday.
At the sidelines of Andhra Pradesh Table Tennis Association's general body meeting, Choudhary informed about the capital of Andhra Pradesh being bestowed with the honour of hosting the World Championship.
Choudhary also informed that Hyderabad will also host the National Ranking Championship this year but the dates are yet to be finalised.
He said that the names of the probables for the 2012 London Olympics has been finalised.
Choudhary said that K Spurti of Vijayawada was selected to participate in Junior US Open TT Championship, which will be held at the end of this month and Naina of Hyderabad was selected for Under - 12 world Hope Championship to be held in Austria.
TTFI also announced to set up an academy. V Bhaskararam was elected as new President and SM Sultan was elected as General Secretary of Andhra Pradesh Table Tennis Federation.
