Ace shooter Jaspal Rana among dignitaries was present at the awareness campaign organised by Max Super Speciality Hospital, Patparganj to fight 'Lifestyle Diseases.'
The focus of MaxHealthy India 2013 - Health Splash, organised in association with the Foundation for Social Awakening (FSA), was to create awareness about preventive healthcare that will have positive implication on health, behaviour and attitude of people.
In order to further strengthen the objective of raising awareness, a painting competition Health-Splash was organised for children.
The prize distribution ceremony for the competition was held today at IPEX Bhawan, Patparganj.
The other dignitaries included Union Minister for Water Resources Harish Rawat, Amrish Singh Gautam, Dy. Speaker of Delhi Legislative Assembly and Bollywood actor Hemant Pandey.
Commenting on the occasion, Neeraj Mishra, VP-Operations, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Patparganj said: "Our initiative - MaxHealthy India 2013 received an overwhelming response as more than 300+ children participated in the painting competition. Max Super Speciality Hospital, Patparganj along with Foundation for Social Awakening (FSA) organised the event taking into account the dire need for healthy living.
In addition to the medical interventions that we provide at the hospital, we also recognise the importance of educating people in order to help them achieve changes in their lifestyles necessary for preventing illness."
