Aman Sehrawat will fight for bronze in the men's 57kg event after losing his semi-final bout yesterday against Japanese top-seed Rei Higuchi. He will take on Puerto Rico's Darian Toi Cruz in an hours time.

Two appeals were filed by Vinesh - one for participating in Thursday's wrestling final while the second one was to get the joint-silver medal. While her first appeal was rejected, the CAS accepted her second request.  The Indian authorities have appointed famous lawyer Harish Salve to represent Vinesh's case in front of the CAS. As per the reports, the hearing will take place on Friday at 1:30 PM (IST) and Salve will be virtually joining the case. 

Meanwhile, wrestler Vinesh Phogat's appeal regarding her disqualification from women's 50kg freestyle wrestling final, has been accepted by the Court of Arbitration. The CAS hearing will take place on Friday at 1:30 PM (IST) and renowned lawyer Harish Salve will be representing Vinesh. 

Round three of women's individual golf event begins at Paris Olympics 2024. India's Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar are currently Tied 14 with a total score of 143.
