India had a mixed day on day 6 of the Rio Olympics as the women archers, Deepika Kumari and Bombayla Devi crashed out in the pre-quarterfinals while Saina Nehwal started her badminton campaign on a high. Sania Mirza - Rohan Bopanna also gave India something to cheer by winning the mixed doubles match.
All eyes on day seven of the Games will be on Atanu Das as he aims to give India a medal. The athletics event will also begin in Rio 2016. The Indian Men's Hockey Team, who lost to the Netherlands but are almost through to the quarter-finals, will be aiming to end the league campaign on a high against Canada.
