The discounted tickets are also available for players of hockey academies for matches on Friday and Saturday.
"They can purchase these special tickets for Rs. 10/- each for Section 'A' & 'C' upon production of their valid Identity Cards issued by their Educational Institutions/ Academies at Gate No. 5, (Mathura Road), MDC National Stadium, New Delhi," a HI release stated.
Stake are high for both men's and women's hockey team in the tournament as only the winner will qualify for the London Olympics, but fans have not turned up in good numbers to watch the contests.
