Karnataka Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar on Friday wished good luck to all the players of the state who are participating in the London Olympics.

Handing over a cheque of Rs five lakh to the athletes at his official residence "Krishna" here, Shettar hoped that this time also the players would give an excellent performance and win many medals.
Those taking part in the London Games from the state are Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna (tennis), Vikas Gowda (discus thrower), Sahana Kumari and H M Girish (athletics), Ashwini Ponnappa (badminton), M P Gagan Ullalmath (swimming), Farman Pasha (powerlifting) and Sharat Gaikwad (swimming) would take part in para-olympics.
