New Delhi:
Two of as many as six athletes who flunked the dope test on July 1, have been summoned by the National Anti Doping Agency on Wednesday. They are expected to face a panel where their 'B' samples will be tested.
4X400m relay runner Sini Jose and 400m runner Tiana Mary Thomas were tested positive for stanzolol and methandienone but pleaded innocence. The furor over the spate of positive reports led to the sports ministry instructing the Sports Authority of India to sack the coaches of all tainted athletes.
Both the athletes mentioned above were found guilty of using anabolic steroids.
