Although coming from a rather dismal Euro tour, spirits were high and the team under Australian coach Michael Nobbs will train for a week before the start of the event. "We spent a week in London during the Test event in the first week of May and that experience will help us. The boys are very excited and eager for the competition to start, as this is the best time for us to once again show our potential on the World stage," said Bharat Chettri, captain of the team.
The session in London will include training in the gym as well as getting accustomed to the blue turf in the Riverbank Arena here, the venue for the matches during the Olympics.
The campaign for the side kicks off with a clash against Netherlands on June 30. New Zealand will come their way on June 30 followed by matches against Germany on August 3, Korea on August 5 and Belgium on August 7.
