Rajasthan Royals (RR) won a low-scoring thriller at the Wankhede in Mumbai on Thursday as Delhi Capitals (DC) were left wondering how they let the match slip away after getting off to a brilliant start with the ball defending 148. When a rampaging David Miller holed out off Avesh Khan's bowling to put RR 7 wickets down, DC would have thought that the win was theirs to take. But Chris Morris and Jaydev Unadkat stayed unbeaten until the end, as the former finished the chase brilliantly with an 18-ball 36.
DC captain Rishabh Pant, who starred with the bat for his team, had an opportunity to get Unadkat out early in the 18th over and put more pressure on the Royals, but fumbled the chance.
On the first ball of the 18th over, Morris played a short delivery to deep midwicket and as Unadkat started off for the single, the South African all-rounder sent him back. While turning, Unadkat slipped, creating an easy run-out chance.
Pant took the bails off with Unadkat far out of the crease, but there was a catch. He had failed to gather the ball, and it had bounced out of his hands before he hit the stumps.

Unadkat was named player of the match for his brilliant spell of 3-15, that saw him dismiss DC's in-form openers as well as Ajinkya Rahane, and his unbeaten 11 off 7 deliveries, including one six, also played a big role in RR chasing down their target, having been 42/5 at one point.
Pant played a brilliant knock of 51 off 32 deliveries to rescue Delhi's inning after an early collapse, before he fell victim to a run-out himself.
