India qualified for the FIH World League in February this year by winning all the matches of Hero Hockey World League Round 2 tournament held at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium here

Preparatory probables camp for FIH World League starts on Saturday

In preparation for the FIH World League Round 3 to be held at Rotterdam, Netherlands June 13-23, the training camp of the senior men's hockey core probables will commence at Netaji Subhas Southern Centre (NSSC), Bangalore from April 6 and continue till April 26.

India qualified for the FIH World League in February this year by winning all the matches of Hero Hockey World League Round 2 tournament held at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium here. FIH World League Round 3 is also a qualifier for the World Cup 2014 to be held at The Hague, Netherlands.

The 34 senior men core probables will be part of the preparatory camp starting from Saturday.

The list of probables: Goalkeepers: PR Sreejesh, PT Rao, Sreenivasa Rao Katharu, Nanak Singh.

Defenders: VR Raghunath, Sandeep Singh, Rupinder Pal Singh, Harbir Singh Sandhu, Amit Rohidas, Sampath Kumar, Maylaram.

Midfielders: Sardar Singh, Kothajit Singh, Birendra Lakra, Manpreet Singh, MB Aiyappa, Pardeep Mor, Gurmail Singh, Vivek Dhar.

Forwards: SV Sunil, Gurvinder Singh Chandi, Chinglensana Singh, Shivendra Singh, Danish Mujtaba, SK Uthappa, Pradhan Sommanna, Nithin Thimmaiah, Yuvraj Walmiki, Dharamvir Singh, Akashdeep Singh, MG Poonacha, Prabhdeep Singh, PL Thimmanna, Sukhdev Singh, Gurpreet Singh.
