India Stun Great Britain 3-1 in Hockey Practice Match
India have previously beaten United States and France and the win over Great Britain will go a long way in boosting its confidence ahead of the Hockey World League (HWL) Semi-Final.

The Indian men's hockey team has registered a resounding 3-1 win over Great Britain that will go a long way in boosting its confidence ahead of the Hockey World League (HWL) Semi-Final starting here on Saturday.
In their fourth practice match here, India opened their account in their very first minute on Wednesday when midfielder Gurbaj Singh sounded the board with a field goal against Great Britain. (Indian Hockey Team Working Hard to Defend Penalty Corners)
Following the confidence boosting first strike, the Indians kept on attacking and forward Devindar Walmiki extended the lead to 2-0 when his shot found the back of the net during a raid in the 12th minute.
Eight minutes later, young striker Akashdeep Singh scored the third goal for the Asian Games champion.
Trailing 0-3, Great Britain scored the consolation goal in the 28th minute but till then the match was already in India's pocket.
In earlier practice matches, India defeated the United States and France, while they lost to hosts Belgium.
