Vaishavi Sinha Wins Second Leg of Women's Professional Golf Tour

Vaishavi Sinha, who started her day as the joint second on the leader board played with utmost caution to finish at the top with 218 after the final round, three shots clear of overnight leader Amandeep Drall, who finished second.

Vaishavi Sinha won the second leg of the Women's Professional Golf Tour 2015 at the Kalhaar Blues and Greens in Ahmedabad on Thursday.

Vaishavi, who started her day as the joint second on the leader board played with utmost caution to finish at the top with 218 after the final round, three shots clear of overnight leader Amandeep Drall, who finished second.

The Noida girl finished her final round carding a total of 218, which included three birdies on the 11th, 13th and 14th holes along with a couple of bogeys on the fourth and 12th holes at the Rs.7,00,000 event.

Overnight leader Amandeep failed to maintain her momentum, as she faltered with five bogeys on the second, fifth, sixth, seventh and 18th holes, and a double bogey on the 15th hole.

She carded just two birdies on the 10th and 11th holes to finish second, carding a total of 221 after the final round.

Smriti Mehra finished third with a total score of 227 after the final round. Her round consisted of four bogeys on the first, fourth, sixth and 10th holes, a double bogey on the 15th hole and a birdie on the 13th hole.
