Rana ninth in Malaysia Open
Vikram Rana returned his first over-par card of the tournament -- a three-over 75 -- and slipped to the ninth spot.

Vikram Rana returned his first over-par card of the tournament -- a three-over 75 -- and slipped two places to the ninth spot after the third round of the Malaysian Amateur Open golf tournament at Kuching in Malaysia on Saturday.
After today's round, Rana lies eight shots behind the leader, Tanyakon Krongpha, who is at five-under 139.
Another Indian, Rashid Khan, however, moved up a few notches after carding his second consecutive even-par round and is one one shot behind Rana with a total of four-over 220. Gagan Verma slumped to the 15th spot after an average 74.
Thailand's Krongpha returned three-over 75 but still retained his lead after his nearest challenger, Kalana Ibrahim, also carded 75 to slip to the fourth place.
