Grand Blanc, US:
A disappointing one-over 73 put paid to Arjun Atwal's hopes as he missed the cut for the second successive week, falling by the way side after the halfway stage of the Buick Open golf tournament here.
The Orlando-based Indian, who missed the cut in the RBC Canadian Open last week, sank in four birdies and a couple of double bogeys to aggregate 144 to end his campaign on a disappointing note.
Atwal birdied the sixth, eighth, 13th and 14th hole but double bogeys at the 15th and 16th holes left him four strokes short of the cut-line at the Warwick Hills G and Country Club here.
At the top, Australian John Senden blasted six-under 66 to total 130 and grab a two- stroke lead over American Michael Letzig (65), while Vaughn Taylor (68) and Bill Lunde (65) breathed down his neck one stroke behind.
