Atwal finishes 68th at Northern Trust
Arjun Atwal was unable to capitalise on a good birdie run in the middle of the round, as he dropped too many bogeys to return a card of one-over 72 and finish tied 68th at the Northern Trust Open on the PGA Tour.

Arjun Atwal was unable to capitalise on a good birdie run in the middle of the round, as he dropped too many bogeys to return a card of one-over 72 and finish tied 68th at the Northern Trust Open on the PGA Tour.
Atwal had rounds of 71, 74, 72 and 72 as his driving was far from accurate. His missed too many fairways, but his putting kept him afloat.
The 29-year-old Australian Aaron Baddeley took the top spot as he finished with a 2-under 69 to hold off Vijay Singh and Fred Couples. It was Baddeley's first win in four years.
The Fijian, approaching 48, closed with a 69 for second place, which was his best finish in more than two years.
Kevin Na (71) was third, while the 51-year-old Couples, who was in with a chance till the 16th, bogeyed two of the last three holes and shot 73 to tie for seventh in his bid to become the PGA Tour's oldest winner in more than 35 years.
