Atwal climbs to 42nd at Pebble Beach

Arjun Atwal continued his upward climb with a steady third round of two-under 70 that put him at three-under and in tied 42nd place at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am on sunday.

Arjun Atwal continued his upward climb with a steady third round of two-under 70 that put him at three-under and in tied 42nd place at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am on sunday.

Steve Marino of the US shot a 71 and stayed in front at 12-under, one clear of Jimmy Walker (63) after the end of round three. Bryce Molder (68) was at 11-under and DA Points (71) at 10-under.

Atwal birdied the fourth, bogeyed the sixth and turned in even par. On back nine, he birdied 14th and 17th and finished at 70 at Spyglass Hill.
