Anirban Lahiri Finishes Tied 5th in PGA Championship, an Indian Best
Anirban Lahiri's performance is the highest finish by an Indian in a golf Major.

Anirban Lahiri finished tied for the fifth place at the PGA Championship on Sunday.
This is the best performance by an Indian in a golf major.
Jason Day of Australia went on to win the title. It was his first title with a 20-under par total unprecedented in major championship history.
Lahiri was elated after his effort and thanked his fans for staying up late to watch him.
"I thank my fans for staying up late to watch me play," he said in an exclusive interview to NDTV.
"Nice to be able to represent my country," he added.
He also credited the media for supporting him throughout his career.
"Media has shown a lot of support," he said.
Lahiri went on to say that he hoped his success would help the world take notice of Indian golf.
