Kimi Raikkonen ended second on a two-stop strategy as he held off a late challenge from Sebastian Vettel. Kimi climbed above Fernando Alonso to second in the drivers standings.

Vettel was not pleased with his duel with Kimi Raikkonen. "I told Kimi I was not happy, but he was laughing. That's racing," he said after the race.

Starting tenth, Mark Webber drove a superb race to end 4th, ahead of two-time champion Alonso and sixth-placed Frenchman Romain Grosjean.

The Force India's had a torrid time in Hungary, with both Adrian Sutil and Paul di Resta failing to finish.

But it was Hamilton's race all the way as the 2008 drivers champion came home 11 seconds clear of his nearest rival.
