Ferrari has to improve to contend in 2014, says Fernando Alonso
Heading into the season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix, Alonso says he is proud to have already secured second place in the drivers' championship, but says Ferrari needs "to do things better for next year" if it wants to fight for the championship against Red Bull and the other top teams.

Fernando Alonso says Ferrari won't be able to contend for the Formula One title next year unless it finds a way to improve.
Heading into the season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix, Alonso says he is proud to have already secured second place in the drivers' championship, but says Ferrari needs "to do things better for next year" if it wants to fight for the championship against Red Bull and the other top teams.
The Spaniard says Ferrari is not "good enough compared to Red Bull and Sebastian Vettel." He says Ferrari doesn't even have the second-fastest car this year, struggling to keep pace with both Mercedes and Lotus.
