Injured Xavi Hernandez and Gerard Pique will miss Barcelona's Spanish Primera Liga football match on Sunday night at Rayo Vallecano.

Midfielder Xavi is sidelined for around two weeks with a muscle tear in his left calf, while defender Pique is recovering from a clash of heads suffered in Tuesday's second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Chelsea, Xinhua reported.

With four matches remaining this season, the defending champions Barcelona could see arch-rivals Real Madrid, who have a seven-point lead over Barca, virtually secure the title Sunday when they host Sevilla.
