Ghana gave state funeral honours to former Black Stars and Chelsea player, Christian Atsu, who died in last month's earthquake in Turkey, with a ceremony led by President Nana Akufo-Addo.

Christian Atsu spent four seasons at Chelsea before a permanent transfer to Newcastle in 2017.

Amid the conflicting reports regarding the rescue of Ghanian international footballer Christian Atsu from the rubble of the earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria, his agent Nana Sechere has revealed that his whereabouts are yet to be confirmed.
