Former Spain defender Joan Capdevila has appealed to US President Donald Trump for assistance after his entry into the United States was denied ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026 final clash between Spain and defending champions Argentina on Sunday.
Defender Joan Capdevila, who played for Spain in 2010 World Cup, said the 2012 Euro champions will have to wait to regain their past glory but they need not discard their attractive brand of football.
Joan Capdevila, a 36-year-old former World Cup and Euro winner, will be a star attraction in the Indian Super League. He has been signed up by John Abraham co-owned North-East United Football Club.
