For the first time, Kolkata's famed football club Mohun Bagan will be in Jammu to play the "Goodwill Tournament" next month.
Jammu and Kashmir Sports Minister RS Chib said on Tuesday the tournament has been organised in collaboration with the central Sports Ministry, Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council and the state football association.
The tournament will be held from September 11.
Chib expressed satisfaction over sports activities gaining momentum in Jammu and Kashmir.
"The success of Jammu Premier League (JPL) and Kashmir Premier League (KPL) cricket tournaments are a morale booster to hold similar events," he said.
