Meghalaya finish third in T Ao soccer
Two goals apiece by Gatpoh and Kharumnuid seal the fate of Arunachal Pradesh in play-off match.

Hosts Meghalaya won the third place in the T Ao Memorial football tournament on Tuesday after convincingly defeating Arunachal Pradesh 6-2. The first half had ended 2-2.
For the winners, Niwan O Gatpoh and Lansning Kharumnuid scored two goals apiece while Bickyson Kharkongor and Teiborlang Siangshai scored a brilliant goal each. For Arunachal Pradesh, Tadar Tokum and Hage Kemo scored.
In the final match on Wednesday, defending champions Mizoram take on Manipur at 5 pm at the Polo ground here.
