Olympique Lyon returned to winning ways on Saturday, beating Nantes 2-0 to strengthen their lead at the top of the French Ligue-1 standings. The reigning champions, beaten for the first time this season by Lille in the League Cup first round in midweek, got back on track thanks to early second half goals by Pierre-Alain Frau and Sidney Govou. Lyon, the only unbeaten team in the French league after 14 rounds, now lead second-placed Lille by four points. Lille host Monaco on Sunday. (AP)
